I enjoy using the Leap skill, (granted by an equipment,) so I will likely love Leap Attack. Whirlwind requires only 20 points to max out, but its prerequisites cover a lot of different and varied skills. So the Frenzy path and synergies leave little/no room for flexibility and versatility. Frenzy and its synergies suck up a whole lot of skill points. The Frenzy path is separate from other combat skills. I looked at the Combat Skill tree for Barbarian. (Whirlwind and Leap are interesting skills that are not available in other classes, so I know I won't replay those styles in another class/build.)ĥ. So I do not want to replay a similar build with a Barb, if a Frenzy Barb is indeed similar to a Zealot. I intend to build a Zealot as my one and only Paladin. Which brings us to the Frenzy Barb: How similar is it to a Zealot Paladin? How similar is Frenzy to Zeal? I tried a Zealot, and I like it. I want them to be different and varied in play styles.
(I am building a Skelemancer/Fishymancer no other class can summon an army.) I do not want to build and play a "Hammerdin" because it is similar to casters (and a bore to play.) I want variety in my seven characters/classes/builds. For example, I do not want to build and play a "Commando" Necromancer because its play style is too similar to other melee classes.
